Other Offerings
The Alterations Atelier
at ALSW
ALSW works with an incredible network of seamstresses that work both onsite* and offsite.
How it works: You will receive a questionnaire, and based on multiple factors, ie wedding date, availability, lead time and more… you will be given the best seamstress recommendation possible.
*Onsite availability is limited. Our on-site Alterations Atelier can accommodate 14 brides per wedding weekend, and we have already reached that cap for multiple wedding weekends in 2023. However, our offsite seamstresses are equally as talented and currently have plenty of availability for every wedding date in 2023.

Gown Preservation
It is inevitable that your wedding gown will face some damage on your wedding day, often in the form of dirt or spills that you may not even notice as you are visiting with family or dancing with friends. We are honored to work with one of the most reputable gown cleaning and preservation laboratories in the country, based here in Connecticut. Simply drop off your gown with us, we will send it out and your gown will be shipped to you upon completion.
